Spoke to. 1 of his Grey teammates, as hard as this is to believe, he said he might be ready in 3 months 8-O. I’d be very surprised if he stayed out for anything less than 6 montha

Hts Middelburg,Garsfontein and Kempton Park had massive scores against Menlopark,Florida and Centurion respectively* scorelines a big surprise in some matches. Seems like they mean business towards the 1/4 finals of the Beeld trophy this weekend. Add to that Waterkloof, Monument, EG Jansen and Nelspruit there going to be some huge games over the next few weeks.

@Redblack White: Yep, clean sweep for the age group A sides is pretty encouraging, bodes well for a strong period to come, strong U16’s from last year, strong U16 this year, narrow loss to Glenwood and a klap from Affies the only losses of the year. U15 looking better game by game, U14 finding their mojo earlier than is usual at College as it normally only comes together in the first part of U15. Good things to come.

Great result for the College under 16a today. Also u 15 a -although well done to PBHS for the fight they put up in that one – they were 21-0 down at one stage and did well to bring it back to 22-33

@Gungets – agree about dr Jekyll. I kept waiting for the team to spark but did not happen. But take nothing away from PBHS They were definitely the better team on the park today. Great forward dominance and really good kicking game, I think. Well done to our friends from up North.

@Slam: The only way to get a pass, in my mind anyway, would be victory against Glenwood on Dixons. Didn’t see a reason to be optimistic today. I like to be positive and there are very good signs for next year, but this year is only a condoned pass because they delivered such a huge game against Glenwood and stood up under dire circumstances to Kearsney. Other than Westville they have not looked terrible, so cudos for standing up in a real building year. My blood stays red, black and white. Jimeloyo!

@Ludz: @QC86: @Playa: The only way Queens Under16A will beat Selborne is if they drug the Selborne players I am sure Selborne will take that game by 40 at least. Under 14 game should be a cracker and Under15 should be close I see Queens have all the injured players back that should be close. And 1st team game is any bodies for the taking. This game will basically decide the Border No 1 for the year.

@Woltrui: Watse ekonomiese groei in Tzaneen?

Beet, the “Battle of the Greys” is a Premier Schools event and will be televised.@Playa: “Form” is a relative concept. Form in one area, is not necessary form in another. I remember back in 2007, Selborne was not only unbeaten in the EC, but also one of the form sides in SA, and I had the enjoyment to watch GCB beat Selborne 68-0 in EL. Ask Grasshopper what happened a few years back when GCB was 1 on the “ranking” and Glenwood no 2. Around 63-3, if I remember correctly. But this is a new season and the outcome will be decided between 4 white lines. And Im sure that it will be a great encounter between the two “brother” schools.

    Some predictions:

QC vs Selborne at the Rec…that will be a huge game. Hopefully QTN will be dry.I’d say QC are the favourites, but those surfers will make it a long day for the kudu.Tough to call…high scoring game (if dry) and QC to take it by 4 or less.

Dale vs SAC at College…it’s gonna be a long day for my boys.My heart says Dale will cause an upset here, but sense says SAC should take it.They have a far quicker backline and that is where the game will be won or lost. The Dale forwards, small as they are, have proven themselves to be competitive against the best packs in the country.Low scoring game, where SAC will win by 6 or more.

Grey PE vs Grey Bloem…the form book will tell you the Pansies will take this. But the venue is Bloem, against a team eager to beautify their 2013 record. Thanks SuperSport for televising this game.I’ll put my head on the chopper and say the Pansies will win by 5 or less.

    Glenwood vs Affies….Affies by 7

College vs PBHS….College by 5 or less

Outeniqua should walk all over Framesby….by 15 or more

Kingswood vs Graeme…Graeme by 9 or more

    -Kloof
    -Garsies
    -Rustenburg
    -Monnas
    -Kemptonpark
    -Jansies
    -HTS Middelburg
    -Nellies
As streek wenners behoort Kloof, Jansies, Nellies, Monnas en Rustenburg dan sg “makliker” wedstryde speel. Omrede 5 streekswenners is gaan 2 streek wenners egter teen mekaar moet speel.
