The Bulls u18 team made their Craven Week intentions loud and clear when they hammered the Cheetahs 37-10 at the annual Bondedag held in Rustenburg on 23 June 2012.
The Bulls dominated all aspects of the game and it was only in the scrums that the Cheetahs were able to offer a worthy challenge. The Bulls players that stood out in this match and who are worth tracking at Craven Week include Pierre Schoeman (Affies, SA Schools prop 2011), Janse van Rensburg (Affies lock), Ryno Eksteen (Affies flyhalf) and Rohan Janse van Rensburg (Klofies centre).
The Bulls will meet the highly rated Western Province in their first up game at Craven Week in what pundits are already describing as a semi-final of sorts with the winners of this clash expected to eventually advance to the unofficial final as favourites to win it.
KZN Schools has a Day 1 Craven Week date with the Free State Cheetahs.
