Maybe someone can shed some light on this ‘couch coach’ comments of mine:

Why is HM playing our most in form fullback at outside center, while our most in form outside center is out in the cold (Jesse Kriel – Lionel Mapoe); but bring in a fresh out of rehab centre (JDV) into the bench – he should be playing in the Currie Cup to regain some fitness and get game time in my view. This cannot benefit young Jesse, as history will tell us. History will also tell us that this is not to JDV’s benefit either.

Why Mahoje, when Jaco Kriel should clearly be there? Before anyone shouts ‘quota’ – bear in mind that there would still be the same number of black players should a more deserving Mapoe being picked instead of Mahoje. This speaks to a certain conspiracy theory held among black circles. Story for another day.

But of BIGGEST concern for me is the captaincy. This is NOT an official test, so this would be the most opportune time to blood a younger leader for the Bok captaincy. Who better than Warren Whitely to do so? Sure, Duane will walk in to the starting position once fit, but that’s not the point.

If I am farting, could someone speak some sense to me.

As an aside – the 2 episodes of Jean De Villiers’ journey back to fitness are on YouTube – both 25 min long and a good and relevant watch (especially for a son recovering from a knee reconstruction and feeling bad about missing the rest of the season.

Sover ek weet, was sy vertrek soontoe, 100% sy versoek.GCB claim hom dus nie- sover ek weet, di hoe hy homself sien.

Claim hom maar vir GCB.

En “after all”, di waar hy sy “finishing touches” gekry het. En blykbaar, was hy in sy matriekjaar, reeds O 19 gewees.

@Andre T: Nee dankie. Op so n manier, sal ek sekerlik saam stront praat

@Andre T: So, jy is nou n moroon, of n mormoon. So ek luister nogal na julle uisaaiery.

@GreenBlooded: Not sure why you are so surprised about Elton…he’s picked up his game considerably and is a far better fly than Morne Steyn.

Far too many Grey College. Happens every year. I think there is something untoward going on between the school and the selectors. How can one school continuously dominate the selections like this?
