Former Bok and Paarl Gim centre, Marius Joubert is back for more schoolboy rugby action in 2020. After helping out at their main rivals Durbanville during the 2019 season, Joubert has been roped in to assist at Stellenberg, located just 5km away.
His job functions at Stellenberg will include being the backline and skills coach for the under-19 (open) age group as well as the mentor for the under-15 coaches.
Joubert has a Level-1 coaching qualification.
No doubt he will also add a lot of value as a face familiar to the many adults on the sidelines including prospective parents. Amongst the fondest memories of him from his playing days is the one of the hat trick he scored against the All Blacks back in 2004.
