@Scrum5: I don’t have an issue with this player or any player for that matter moving from WP and certainly did not indicate that in my reply to Muzi. Players choose to stay or move, for whatever reason, and if players move it’s not the end of the world. WP have a few good props in the system for 2015 anyway, so if they can keep them, they will be ok. But if I get my way, they won’t stay.

@Ploegskaar.WP went out of their way to keep Gavin van den Berg.A big contract was offered to him as well as ample time for him to make his decision.Gavin also had a scholar contract since Gr 10 and received pocket money from WP up to Matric.WP’s Director of Rugby even had a discussion with him and his family personally. Why don’t we shift the focus to why 2 Bulls SA Schools players left the Bulls for WP.

@Ploegskaar: Bepaal jou by goed waarvan jy kennis dra. Dil lyk my dis eerder jy wat bietjie breinkrag tekort skiet tussen die ore “more importantly between the ears”..hou vakansie ou

Add to this, the players that are going to the WP Rugby Academy in Tokai, and they have a big pool of players to choose from.
There are a couple of KZN players going there. Wayne Smith, Nathan Meilon and Jordan Martin from Westville. I heard that the St Charles hooker and a prop from Northwood are also going.

@Muzi: You are of course aware of his history down here and that WP did not make a serious effort to keep him? All the best to him though, he certainly has the attributes/attitude of a Bulls player, but lot’s of hard work ahead with conditioning, technique and more importantly between the ears.

Looking forward to watching Keyter progress through the ranks – really great young full back.

Once again, too many tight five forwards recruited, most of them are going to be let down by not getting any game time – talent should be spread out more

Some seriously talented players in this squad !

Unfortunately not everyone will get playing time, but the 30 odd that will play, will be very competitive.

Interesting to see how many players from abroad are in the squad.
