KZN, KES & Pretoria Boys High team sheets – 10/05/2014

They are trickling in slowly but here’s what the Blog has so far:

FYUI (for your useless information)
Pretoria Boys High
: After 9 games on the road, this is their first game at home this season.
Kearsney vs Clifton: This will be the 1st time in history that the two private schools’ 1st XV’s meet.
Northwood vs Hilton: Both schools start without one star player. For Northwood, Beast Mthembu is out this week while Hilton captain Jayson Gouws is also ruled out.
KES: The last memory most people have of KES is that of a team wearing oversized green jerseys and going down heavily to Paul Roos but their last game was actually a very good 13-12 win against Noord-Kaap in Kimberley two days later.
Glenwood vs DHS: First Played in 1922, Played – 132, Glenwood Won – 53, Glenwood Lost – 68, Draws – 11, % Win – 40%, Glenwood Biggest win – 46-14 (2013), Glenwood Biggest Loss 0-38 (1948)
St Charles vs Michaelhouse: This will be the first of two games between the two private schools this year.

Also great to see James Wheeler get a start for Ville – his first if I’m not mistaken. Proof once again that hard work and dedication pays off in the end.

Nice to see Dixon at No 8 for Kearsney – a far better use of his ample skill set IMO.
