The South Africa Schools team or SA u18 team, whichever you prefer to call them, will take part in a international quadrangular series against England, France and a Welsh Development XV during August.
The SA Schools trials for the squad of 50 players will take place on Saturday, 28 July 2012. Afterwards 28 players will be selected to represent the SA under-18 team in the up and coming international quadrangular series. It is believed that only the players that run onto the field during these three internationals will be capped, meaning that it is possible for a boy to be included in the 28-player squad and to still not be recognised as an official SA u18 player in 2012.
Here is the schedule of the quadrangular series (The order and times are still to be added):
DATE | TEAM | TEAM | VENUE |
---|---|---|---|
10-Aug | England | Wales Development | Boland Rugby Stadium |
10-Aug | South Africa | France | Boland Rugby Stadium |

@TheGoose: The 2010 games vs England and France were on the box, so was the 2011 SA Sch and Academy games vs France, so in all likelihood, these matches will be televised as well. Well at least the SA games willl be.
@greenwood – I have sent this fixture list to the scheduling people at Supersport. Lets hope we get to see some of the games on TV.
Good news this – Hope we see this on TV
