    @Djou: Unfortunately no more daughters or nieces to marry. Only grand children left and do not think you will live that long. Sorry.

    Regarding the announcement. We ran in to a few logistical problems and busy sorting out. Ask Beet to send me your email and maybe you can help.

    @vatikaki: I’m worried about Damian. WP has always been the region to produce the lateral thinking centres for SA rugby but it just seems like de Allende is the birth child of a very conservative attacking approach under AC. So we are almost seeing this Bulls like centre in a Stormers jersey. He’s big and strong and I hope that he can be directed to work more on his ball playing skills as part of a Stormers revisit to their strategies where so successful a few years back but are no longer producing the desired results.

    @beet:

    Can only assume so yes.

    Would’ve loved to have seen Kobus van wyk versus Rohan Janse van Rensburg.

    I’m a fan of Kobus van Wyk myself. Suppose part of me thought he’d have been chosen ahead of Damian de Allende, but that time may come.

    @Tjoppa: Yip, correct again. Wish I can go and help them with an overall strategy, policies and implementation.
    However, on another point, when is the big announcement coming?

    @Djou: Like I said before. No S15 finals with a lot of players leaving, club rugby in worst state for a lot of years, of the best SBR teams AND junior players rather opting for other unions. Like I predicted before………..

    Cheetahs u.21 beat Lions u.21: 25-23 Only unbeaten side this far. Huge improvement from last year thanks to among others Bulls players opting out of their contracts rather playing for the Cheetahs. When looking at the Cheetahs side – not many “stars”, but new stars are always born.
    However, not so good news as Lions u.19 beat Cheetahs u.19: 26-14.
    Congrats to the Cubs on this one.

    Eish the points breakdown shows no scoring from the 56th minute – ie. over a quarter of the game. Suggests the conditions made the going difficult.

    @vatikaki: True it was a good win by WP u21s (14-6). And interesting to see that it was a low scoring affair, so perhaps this win was made possible by very good D. Then again the weather conditions were described as wet and rainy which could also translate into slippy ball and poor traction underfoot ie low quality game.
