Brandwag from Benoni, Centurion from Pretoria and Midstream, a private school from Olifantsfontein near the Midrand have been promoted to the Bowl competition.
The Bowl will be structured into two divisions — East and West — comprising six schools apiece.

The playoffs definitely had an effect on several of the final logs.
Middelburg overtook Zwartkop to gain promotion to the big times for the first time.
Montana overtook Ben Vorster to secure promotion to the Plate in 2026. On the other side of the log, Secunda‘s efforts made sure they moved up a notch to 7th and stayed in the Shield, resulting in Die Anker getting relegated to the Bowl.
Eldoraigne took their first steps towards getting back to their ceiling potential under leadership of new headmaster Retief Smith by climbing a couple of positions to secure promotion to the Shield. On the other end Jeugland scraped home and it is now Randburg who will drop down to Division 2.

@ Beet…it’s Midrand lol (not the Midrand).
But funnily enough, although they are basically outskirts of Centurion and Pretoria East…the school is actually situated in the northernmost strip of land that technically falls under… (U won’t believe this) … Ekurhuleni Metro…
And Ekurhuleni usually means GLRU (Germiston, Edenvale, Alberton, Bedfordview) or Valke (Kempton, Boksburg, Benoni, Brakpan, Springs…)

Didn’t have a good campaign…surrounding areas taking top talent…Bowl Division is actually tuff, all the schools more or less the same, no one really standing out in terms off money, resources etc
And Randburg also sadly sliding … Any insights anyone?

Garsies deserved winners. Well done on your whole program and community success. The new leadership will be under pressure…but your success goes deep across the school and system… coaches, admin, and definitely those who recruit for you are astute, very insightful and networked / connected. We look forward to Middelburg running with the big dogs next year. Well done. You guys deserve it, your all round program and performance was best in the Plate division… Plus your town rivals are also on the Up…

Verlede jaar nog in die Beker-liga gewees, voel vir hulle. As ek reg onthou het hulle nie te lank terug nie vir Hans Coetzee aangestel, so die wil is daar. Dit wys jou hoe moeilik dit is om vastrapplek te kry as ‘n program een of twee moeilike jare kry. Behalwe vir die boonste 4 Beker-skole, dink ek van die Plaat-skole sal hulself laat geld teen die ander Beker-skole, as mens na al die uitslae van die dag kyk, o14 tot o19.
Dielselfde het met HTS Middelburg gebeur in 2023 toe hul onder aan die Plaat geeindig het na hul die vorige jaar nog Beker gespeel het. Lyk gelukkig of hul goed terugkom. Hopelik kan MV dieselfde momentum kry.

Net so sad is Hugenote Springs. Die reuse van die ou Oos Transvaal. Dis hoekom ek se, niemand is bestand nie. Monnas is wankelrig. Indien die Bere die verkeerde hoof aan stel kan dinge baie vinnig suid beweeg….
Kan nie dink dat Marais Viljoen nog n paar jaar gelede premier liga gspeel het nie ,wat het daar verkeerd geloop
