Saints Festival: app and recovery centres

The St Stithians College Sports Festival has used an app (find it here -> http://bit.ly/2mFw3Zo) for a few years now. This year, the 34th edition of its annual Sports Festival, the school has brought out an app with even better functionality.

The app offers festival-goers the opportunity to engage with the festival digitally. Among other things, users can select fixtures to add to a personalised schedule; predict scores; and view player, coach, and referee profiles.

The College festival will take place on 12, 13, 15, and 17 April 2017 at a number of Saints sporting venues with over 100 teams from South Africa and Botswana competing in basketball, cross country, football, hockey, netball, rugby, squash, and tennis on the Saints campus. Saints promises an amazing Easter weekend of school sport and great enetertainment.

The Prep festival takes place from 6 – 8 April and will welcome over 400 players for netball, rugby, and tennis. Saints promises great weekend of prep school sport.

Players at the College festival will also have access to two recovery centres offering ice baths, sport massages, foam rolling, and more specialised services.

The festival promises great entertainment, exciting sport, and delicious food from a range of vendors including Amci Pizzeria and Paquito’s Treatery. There will also be Thursday and Saturday evening entertainment featuring DJ Chunda Munki and rapper Nasty C. Tickets for these U18-only events, called Free the Night and Free the Night 2.0 are available at www.freethenight17.co.za.

Tickets cost R40 per festival day.
