SANIX 2015: Paul Roos’ progress

Paul RoPRG150os, one of the favourites to top the national school rugby rankings in 2015, will be South Africa’s representatives at the SANIX tournament in Japan this year. Following a training process that began back in October 2014 and trials held in February 2015, 30 players have been selected to make the trip to the Far East where they will play 6 games in just 8 days.

The Maroon Machine’s local fixtures also includes matches against Affies, Paarl Boys High, Paarl Gymnasium, Monument and Grey College in this their 150th year of existence.

Well done PRG – good luck for the final!

I said that they’d beat Truro by at least 40, but didn’t think that they’d be up by 40 at half time! Hopefully, they put on all the reserves by half time.

    Well done PRG!

Without wanting to sound too disrespectful, I’d put out a largely second string team in the semi-final, as Truro College (England) are not good. A first string PRG team would beat them by at least 40. The boys will then be well rested for the major test that Scots College (NZ) will provide in the final one day later.
