Yeah, its a tough one to say. He came off the bench last week for a very short time. Today he is starting at centre, Griff must think he is fighting fit otherwise wouldnt play him. His knee heavily strapped though….

@playa Sango wasn’t considered to go to trails. Apparently the Border Coach told them to put his name down by one of the teams because l Selborne never mentioned him at all and the first practice he told Sango to practice with Craven Week.

@Dale College Per Ardua Ad Astra: Is Luyolo Khuse fully fit? He looked uncomfortable when he came on against Grey

yup Booysen is injured, he broke a bone in his hand against grens, would not make sense taking an injured player to craven week. What is the name of the selborne 13? he is a top player.

Booysen is injured, fractured a bone in his hand against Grens and dont think we should take along injured players. What is the name of the selborne starting 13? I hope he is in the squad as he is a good player

@Playa: The 2014 u16s, Academy and Crawenweek players did not play the first round of trials. He started the season at second team for Selborne but was in the 1st team squad from the beginning and has played most of his games this year for the 1st’s. He was selected for the Border 31 group by the selectors and then selected for the final 22 man by the Border coach. A very talented runner and good on defence as well. He deserve to be in the team.

I am glad Sango Xamlashe is in the team. After the Selborne Coaches never even send him to trails. Luckily the Border Coach has seen him play a few a games and very impressed with him. Probably the best defensive centre in the Border.

@rugbyfan: Hey you GCB blimp I was one of those lucky QC 8th team fellow in 1980 who landed up playing Grey Bloem 12th’s by mistake and whipped them by 64-0. At half time I was starting to think that maybe somebody had drugged the GCB team.

    But that result stands.

@QC86: You take Grant and Morgan and all those QC boys including the ones going to the bush and you would have a half decent side.

@rugbyfan: A bit of struggle in the lineout in the 1st half literally gave SAC all 17 points they scored in 1st half. They scored all their 1st half points of our lineout mistakes. Matanzima was an absolute handful. Bounced off the 1st defender on almost every carry

@spilly: I think Beet could aslo add another team called the Border Crocks team sure QC and Selborne could nearly fill it alone they would be nearly as good as the Craven week team.

Starting fullback on Saturday started the season as the 3rd XV, had a good debut by all accounts, but it tells the story of a horrid season with injuries for Queen’s. I have never seen so many injuries in 1 season for the 1st XV

@Queenian: Not sure how true this is one QC teacher told me on Saturday that of the 1/2/3 team there are 12 injured boys out, I mean that,s a whole team.

Although must say the 1st team game QC grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory. They should have won by 25 points at least, not sure what they were up to.

With all these injuries is it because kids are a lot softer these days or is it a lot more taxing or physical than it use to be. Also I think the kids are a lot more beefed up and they were say 30 years ago.

When I was up in Queenstown on Saturday the team list for the 1st team basically had 8 changes to the one that started the season of the 15 players and 6/7 replacements. Now either QC boys are now soft or the season are very much more demanding or something.

Only positive I see from this is that the Under 17 boys get a lot more game time. Of the 3rd Team boys who played the first team game 9 are now playing 2nd team that,s crazy.

And seams to go a lot further I see the QC Under16 has 3 players out as well really not pretty.

Its unfortunate that Queens prop is going to the bush. Could of had a chance at SA schools. Morgan is another big loss to the team. I see that Kwanda Dimaza has come in for Sim Matanzima and Bulela Sotyelelwa for Morgan Steyn.

@QC86 Will never know the true potential of the 2015 side, same applies to Queens, also hit by injuries . Proud of the Selborne boys, with the setbacks, they have done very well this season.
