Boishaai Headmaster Announcement set for 3rd Term End

Paarl Boys’ High have done an excellent job of keeping the identity of their next headmaster under wraps. The candidate’s name, which is understood to be with the Department of Education for final ratification, has not leaked despite months of speculation.

Whispers in the Winelands suggest that a Southern Suburbs headmaster has got the nod, while those closer to the Helderberg region are convinced it’s one of their own who will be joining the Galpille in January 2026.

The process was not easy and required the post to be readvertised. The second time around began with around 60 applicants, which the committee narrowed down to five. Among them, talk was that an English-only headmaster from KZN had even been in the mix.

If either the Winelands or Helderberg rumours are true, two things are certain:

1. Boishaai are about to land themselves a strong headmaster.

2. A very attractive post in a highly sought-after part of the country will soon be opening up due to a headmaster resigning in order to join Boishaai.
