Riley Norton is the perfect all-rounder
If it wasn’t impressive enough that Paul Roos headboy and 1st XV rugby captain, Riley Norton, joined an elite group of schoolboys selected for both SA Schools cricket and rugby, the 2024 matriculant also achieved an outstanding seven distinctions, finishing with an aggregate of 89%.
Remarkable achievements indeed!…

Global Schools Challenge 2024 – Player and Team of the Tournament
Tom Pullen, owner of the leading schoolboy rugby website NextGenXV and organiser of the successful Global Schools Challenge, hands Grey College’s Ethan Adams the Golden Jersey after the Sherman Tank midfielder was named Player of the Tournament 2024. Adams who turns 18 in 2025, is likely to be the Grey starter at 13. He is already a South African u18 capped player. …

Global Schools Challenge 2024 – humble beginnings…
…with the promise of bigger and better things to come.
The inaugural Global Schools Challenge held at Grey College during December 2024 was a success story. Next year’s tournament in Spain is already building up to be something else with some of the best that the UK and Ireland have to offer expected to join the party that will likely include Grey College, Grey High and Oakdale. On the wishlist is another high profile name SA school as well as one or two big names from New Zealand of whom Auckland Grammar would be first prize given their connection to both Grey’s of SA.…
