@Beet: Isn’t Odendaal taking up his bursary with the Sharks Academy?

Interesting to see that Lions WP and KZN has multiple players hunted by unions for flyhalf spot, but only one flyhalf from Blue Bulls region?? Are our flyhalfs that bad?

So nobody’s taken any notice of the flyhalf from Framesby yet? I must say I am very surprised. He is the real deal and will catch the eye at craven week..
Ask any team he has played against..

@Beet: Beet ! Trust me ! They are very interested. He has signed nothing. This boy is the real deal! He played a huge role in the Boland,s win over WP in the final trial match at Bellville. I spoke Friday to the Bulls and Lions, and also today with him.

@Kattes-Strofes: Sjoe will there be any contracts left by the time he decides. I heard the Bulls have completed their contracting for 2019, so maybe Rapport onto something by saying WP have signed him. WP have access to Kearsney flyhalf/fullback Jacques Odendaal as well next year so they perhaps not too fazed about 10’s at the moment

Lionel April have not signed any contract yet. As I have previously mentioned, I am helping this talented younster. Apart from WP, I know that the Bulls and the Lions are interested in him.

The article also mentioned Dylan Schwartz (EG Jansen -> Bulls) and Muzi Manyike (Jeppe -> Lions). Both players can play 10 but will probably be employed as midfielders (where they have done the most damage as 1st XV players) starting in 2019.
