SA Schools assignment for Boishaai coach

Paarl Boys’ High head coach Sean Erasmus is the newly appointed SA Schools assistant coach and will serve alongside head coach Hein Kriel (Paul Roos) during this year’s under-18 international series.

Erasmus who is also at work in his first campaign as the Western Province Grant Khomo assistant coach, has not wasted any time making a name for himself down in the Cape in just little over a year since he moved there from KwaZulu-Natal. He’s successes include helping the 2014 Boishaai under-19A team to overachieve and his current team is the unbeaten, undisputed number-1 1st XV across all the various national school rankings so far in 2015.

“It’s a team effort!” Good team of coaches and staff that care about boys! Also great players that believe in what we try to implement!”

@BoishaaiPa: Unlike You, I don’t experience joy when a school team loses.

@Djou: It is as at this moment..You cannot dispute that fact…The season is far from over and we still have a few tough matches coming up that can upset the applecart. But I am sure you will revel in any setbacks that Boishaai might get in future matches…It just grinds you up that they might enjoy any kind of success!

    Undisputed number 1??????

I am disputing it. If they beat Paarl Gim they can claim to be undisputed number 1. And I will then concede that Paarl Gim is number 2.

The great thing this year is that there will be two SA Schools teams playing against England and France

Sean, if you are out there in cyberspace reading this I just wanted to apologise for attacking you on this blog and blaming you for the issues at Glenwood. I’m sure these were not your doing and out of your hand. I’m genuinely glad you have found ‘greener’ pastures (excuse the pun) and thriving down at Boishaai. I have always thought you were an excellent coach, I just felt you were being a bit too stretched that one season coaching Glenwood and the Sharks Under19. I named my son Sean too, spelt the correct way
