Queen’s College hosted Kingswood College, from Grahamstown, at The Recreation Ground. The match was played in overcast and windy conditions but this did not hamper the flow of the game as both teams attacked relentlessly for the entire match. Monument of Krugersdorp is the overall winners of Tuks Skole Reeks competition for Co-ed schools. 8 different sports namely rugby, hockey, netball, golf, chess, squash, cross country and tennis across all high school age-groups contributed to points scored in the 16-strong school competition.

Centre James Tedder opened the Kearsney score with a penalty from a scrumming infringement by the visitors. DHS put the hosts under pressure and, after some phase play, centre Coetzee pushed a grubber through which his midfield partner collected, to dive over in the right-hand corner.
